If you're thinking about having a go but still not sure if it's for you then read what one of my students has to say.

"I took up drumming aged 40, after years of wanting to have a go, but due to family & work commitments, was never able to spare the time. I was hooked after 3 lessons & I brought my own kit two months later.
I have now been drumming for almost three years, two of which have been under Tom's guidance. During this time I have completed two Rock School Exams & passed both with good grades.
I've just completed a Weekend Warrior course. This is a programme for musicians from amateurs to retired professionals aged 30 & over, who have never played in a band, been on a stage or just want to get back into music. You have five rehearsals before a live gig for friends & family. My gig was on Saturday 14th April & it was a fantastic experience. I am still on a high & can't wait to do it again !!!
The group I was placed with have decided to stay together as a band. We are currently working on a more extensive set list for our future gigs.
I would like to take my drumming to the next level & know that in continuing my lessons with Tom, I will become a more competent & confident drummer.
If you are interested in drumming, but think that you are too old - Think Again !! I have never looked back, it is so much fun. I wish I'd taken it up years ago." -Dizzy Drummer
